This seasons look for Dior is inspired by the classic 1940′s style that we’ve all been hearing about over the past few months… And now its time to put this look into practise! The designer of this particular style is one of the worlds most respected Makeup Artist’s, Pat McGrath, who created this striking look for Christian Diors Spring 2010 ready-to-wear Collection.
With the traditional look being minimal colour on the eyes, using just a sweep of black eyeliner and mascara and a full pout of red lips, McGrath decided to give it a bit of a modern edge by blending a pastel shade across the eyes of the models before completing with softly shaded brows and blood red lips. A look that works beautifully for both strutting down the catwalk and working that dancefloor!
