After meeting Helen Flanagan once before at a Moho Live event up in Manchester, I was lucky enough to be asked by Artdeco Couture if I would do her makeup for an appearance she was making down in sunny London at Cafe De Paris. Of course why would I refuse!

With her bubbly character and more than polite manners, Helen was all bright eyed and bushy tailed when I arrived in Kensington… although I wasn’t sure if that was more to do with her new Hermes bag. Understandable really!

After showing me her outfit for the evening, a beige toned pencil dress, it was clear that 1940′s was definitely the way to go.

With already picture perfect skin, I used a little Artdeco Concealer under the eyes and highlighter on her cheekbones, before sweeping a light rose colour across her cheeks.

liquid eyelinerNext was the all important 1940′s flicks, using Artdeco’s Long Lasting Liquid Liner, proven to stay put all night long!

Her lips were finished using Revlons Matte Lipstick in Strawberry Suede.

Finally a brush of Artdeco’s Glamstars Compact Powder across her chest and legs and voila, the perfect 1940′s princess is born!
