It has been reported that the OLDEST leather shoe has been discovered by archaeologists in a cave in Armenia… Now correct me if I’m wrong, but although it’s no Louboutin, it’s pretty special to see how times have changed since 5,500 yrs ago! That’s right, 5,500 yrs old is this shoe and was preserved under a layer of sheep dung… can I have that in a 6 please?
It is unclear whether the shoe would have been worn by a man or a woman, but you can clearly see the single leather material that was used to make this piece of history. Bring this design to the modern day and I have to say I think they’d be pretty comfy! Much more than the sky scraping stilettos we insist on torturing ourselves with!Although let’s face it, we all crave that extra inch (or 5!)
