Lanvin & H&M

When it comes to heroes and inspiration this man is one of them for me, Alber Elbaz. The reason why he is my hero is because he landed one of the best jobs you could ever get in fashion, which was head designer for Yves Saint Laurent, when Yves himself picks you to take over as he was retiring, means your special. Tom Ford made the worst decision in his career because he was behind Gucci at the time and because the Gucci Group bought YSL ,Tom Ford (yes Tom Ford) dismissed Alber Elbaz.

As Suave and cool Tom Ford is, I do not respect him for that decision. I know everyone must be bored with posts about Lanvin for H&M but these two videos show what Lanvin, Alber Elbaz and H&M is about in terms of merging Ready-to-wear fashion and high street fashion. Hope you enjoy the videos…
