On September 23rd, at exactly 6 o’clock, I was in front of my desktop, waiting to watch the Prada Spring 2011 show. With Prada and Miu Miu as some of my favourite brands, I’m very excited as the first model walk out.

It looks nothing like what was expected, after the Fall 2010 show. Where was the Fifties-lish style, with all-black, knee-length dresses and untraditional checks? In their places are the 21st Century Chic, complete with neon colours, awkward pattern and thin strapped dresses. Oh, and horizontal strips that made you look way fatter than you actually are.

I still don’t hate Prada, really. Chic minimalism is a must for next year, on the runway of Calvin Klein and Doo. Ri. Next spring you will probably find me wearing a layer-free and embioderment-free wardrobe. Let’s pray horizontal stripes don’t make you look fat……
