Just when you think the body conscious society of today has reached it’s peak, you are then faced with shocking pictures of a teeny tiny 10yr old princess, smothered in makeup and what I can only describe as playing dress up with her mothers fashionable clothes, in French Vogue!

Named Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, you may think she has been well directed in her smouldering looks, but the truth is that she is a child, with a natural doey eyed innocence that translates to the readers as something completely different. Shouldn’t she be parading round with her friends, waving wands and skipping around the garden in with her fairy wings and princess fancy dress, singing songs and playing tag!?

It’s no secret that models are getting younger and younger and are being snapped up to front some of the biggest fashion campaigns out there, but when you see images like this, it really makes you think how the world of young girls will become even more obsessive about their body and size than they sadly already are!

While the UK are working on keeping restrictions tight where sexualising young girls in fashion is concerned, many other European countries think they are just on top of this disturbingly competitive industry.

Wearing slinky dresses, killer stillettos and laying upon leopard print sheets, these images are nothing but innappropriate! It could be fun had these have been part of a play day, playing dress up! As a woman, I know how fun it is to slap on your mums lippie, slip on her heels and parade around, but that was in the private of my own home, with my friends and family. Not for me to display for all to see, let alone to the likes of the damaged individuals we have in this world!

However, Thylane Lena-Rose isn’t the only youngster that has been in such, what I would normally consider to be a very advantaged and successful situation, however, in this case… There are many other top designer names out there that have had young girls of just 13yrs front their campaigns. The worry is, you’d never know it!
