By Carla Challis, Style WriterIt’s been a long time coming but our nation’s sweetheart has finally released her debut shoe collection. Available from today on Stylistpick, the collection ranges from pain inducing high heels (as we’d expect – is she ever seen out of her vertiginous heels?!) to flat boots and casual shoes. There is a smattering of glitter and leopard print, but it’s not overpowering – what’s much more interesting are the fringed desert boots and the tough, ‘toggle’ lined boots.
And what’s in a name? Not a lot I hope as I’m not convinced by Cheryl’s ‘witty’ naming of her shoes. Are you a Byker Groove Mucky Pup (double strap brown boots – yes, really) or Hot To Trot (houndstooth heeled pumps)? Personally, I think she should have given them slightly cooler, less in your face names as let’s face it, who wants to admit they’re wearing a pair of Funky Munkys or Your Royal Hotness?
