Party season is in full swing and what better way to enter the room in a statement dress like those above. Gold is one of the most glamorous and festive colours out there, but you don’t need to be afraid to wear it as it doesn’t have to been brash or tacky.
If you decide to go for gold, make sure the shade of gold suits your skin type/hair colour, some yellow golds are more suited to darker skin shades or brunettes. Blondes, try and go for a less intense, gold that wont be too much of a contrast to your natural colouring.
Since the dress will be the focus point, you can wear plainer shoes that will blend in with the outfit and pick a bag that will compliment, but not compete with the dress. With jewellery you should avoid wearing even more gold to avoid having a range of clashing golds in your outfit. Go for something subtle like small studs or a delicate necklace to round the outfit off. Statement rings are always a winner with bold dresses though so you can venture out there!
